The insurance market has been rocked by a series of natural disasters in the last 12 months or so – the Kaikoura earthquakes, Cyclone Debbie’s fallout, the Bay of Plenty floods for example – and that has had an impact on insurance premiums, including retirement villages. This session will provide an insurance market update including impact of Kaikoura EQ, Fire Service changes, and key messages for RV operators.
Before emigrating to NZ in 2015 Steve worked for over 24 years in the London insurance market, 22 of which were with Crombie Lockwood’s parent company Arthur J. Gallagher. In London Steve worked in the Major Risks Practice Group providing strategic risk advice and insurance placements to a wide range of large and complex clients.
He continues to provide this risk expertise to Crombie Lockwood clients in NZ including a number of the large RVA members.
